Steele UIL Speech and Debate

UIL Speech Team Competed on March 31st.  Here are the results:

• 6th Place in Prose Interpretation-Jace Kruse
• 5th Place in Prose Interpretation-Olivia Coker
• 6th Place in Informative Speaking-Orlando Roque
• 4th Place in Persuasive Speaking-Preston Nnadi
• 5th Place in CX Debate the team of Nathan Barton and Jace Kruse
• 3rd Place in Lincoln Douglas Debate and advancing to Regionals-Francis Shyka
• 2nd Place in Lincoln Douglas Debate and advancing to Regionals-Lane Hamilton
• Overall, Steele Placed 2nd as Overall Speech Team

• 7th  in Social Studies - Jocelyn Bridges

We are so proud of all our competitors.  The Students representing Steele at UIL Region will be Preston Nnadi, Logan Neiswender, Yash Gupta, Kayla Romero, Lane Hamilton, and Conner Childs.  Congrats on Regionals!
